Modern Animal went on to secure $46 million in Series D funding led by Addition, True Ventures and Upfront Ventures, with participation from Founders Fund. Succeeding in standing out in one of the toughest fundraising climates for operationally complex companies.

The investment narrative we crafted reframed Modern Animal as a technology-enabled growth company, one grounded in brand and mission but built on systems, data, and repeatable execution.

The same framework later served as a foundation for more consistent storytelling, helping the team communicate its progress and vision with a new level of professionalism and cohesion.
